London Portrait photographer moves to pastures new
maraschino photography have moved from Greenwich in South East London to Ringstead in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. It’s quite the move, isn’t it? It’s also quite the culture shock!
Pastures new - taking the plunge
It had been a long-held dream of mine (Kath Cherry here, hi) to move to the countryside. In 2021 the world reeled from the implications of post-pandemic life. 10% of the population of London were busy relocating elsewhere. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to take the plunge. One year later, after renovating a house and setting up a studio within, maraschino photography is once again operating from a studio!
But how do you go about launching a newborn and maternity photography business in Ringstead, Northamptonshire? It’s an area that’s brand new to me. Well, if you have the answer to that, please let me know! I thought the first thing would be to let people know we’re here, so we’re HERE! HELLO!!!
What is maraschino photography?
I’m glad you asked me that. As we’re new to the area, it’s probably worth giving just a little bit of background information…
maraschino photography is a maternity, newborn, baby, family and pet photography studio. Although we specialise in maternity and newborn photography, we love to photograph those babies as they’re developing, and the families and pets that come with them.
who is maraschino photography?
You’re asking some good questions here! maraschino photography is owned by me, Kath Cherry. I’m a fully-qualified Master Photographer and the only Master photographer in the region that specialises in maternity and newborn portraits. The opening of a new photography studio is the perfect time to create some truly wonderful offers, to entice people in and get them saying lovely things about you to all their friends and family.
