BABY PHOTO SHOOTS IN the midlands AND BEYOND
DON'T MISS ANOTHER MAGICAL MOMENT
You may think that the first few months of their life will be etched in your memory forever. But as their personality develops and their achievements grow, it will be easy to forget their quirky expressions and their reactions to you and the other people (and things) they love.
We can create adorable portraits, whatever their age. We ensure that their cheeky smiles and sparkling eyes are memories you’ll hold on to, treasure forever, and be reminded of every time you look at your portraits.

Here's what you need to know
That depends on whether you choose a studio photoshoot, or a location photoshoot.
STUDIO PHOTOSHOOTS
Come to my gorgeous studio in Ringstead, Northamptonshire. Here you'll have use of the full studio and all of my props and fabrics.
LOCATION PHOTOSHOOTS
Alternatively, I can come to you. Currently I'm covering all areas of London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. I'll bring a mini-studio with me so we can get some studio portraits. Plus there's the option of some lifestyle portraits using your home and garden as the backdrop. Also, (subject to our gorgeous British weather) we may be able to pop to a local park if you don't have any outside space.
Check out our PRICING page for more information about the different types of shoots we do.
Once Baby is beyond the newborn stage (first 2 - 4 weeks) when we’ll photograph them asleep, it’s best to wait until they’re at least 3 months old. It takes a while for them to be able to hold their head up comfortably, which tends to happen from about 3 months onwards. Every baby is different, though, so don’t worry if you baby takes a little longer to get to this stage.
This is a milestone in every baby’s life. Once they’re able to hold their head up while doing ‘tummy time’ this gives us a lot more options with portraits as we can photograph them on their fronts as well as on their backs.
Other milestones within Baby’s first year are sitting up unaided, standing, and of course walking. Any and all of these are great opportunities to book a photoshoot and get some gorgeous portraits of Baby’s new skills.
Book as early as you possibly can. It’s ok to book before your baby is ready. It’s better to secure your place in the studio diary because we can always push it back a bit if they need a little more time.
I allow 2 hours of studio time for a baby photoshoot. Don't worry, I'm not expecting your baby to be happy being photographed for 2 hours. We might only get 10 minutes before they've had enough. But two hours gives us plenty of time to relax, have some fun, play some games and maybe have a little snack. (And all that’s just for me!!) Of course there’s also time for changing outfits, lighting setups, backgrounds and props. We’ll work really hard to make it seem like the best play date ever for your little one(s).
ABSOLUTELY! I think it's REALLY important for you and the rest of the family to be present in some of the portraits. In 30 years' time, these are the portraits that will be absolutely priceless to your little one. So all of my baby photoshoots include an invitation for parents and siblings to join in the fun!
We work to a 3-part process, which ensures that we build the entire experience around your preferences and desires.
Firstly, we have a creative consultation, by phone or zoom. It takes around 30 minutes. This is so we can design your photo shoot in advance, to get the best possible results for you. We’ll discuss wardrobe choices, styling, themes and more. You’ll feel confident in knowing how to get the most out of your time with us.
Secondly, there's the actual photoshoot. This usually takes up to 4 hours in the studio and half a day on location. A fun, relaxing and memorable experience for you and a little sleep spa for Baby!
Finally, there's the Ordering Appointment. This can happen at the studio, or by Zoom and usually takes about 45 minutes. Your ordering appointment is the culmination of all our work together. You’ll see a video of the very best of the portraits we've created for you. We are shamelessly out to impress you, so get ready to go “Wow!” (and make sure you've some tissues to hand - it can get emotional!)
Studio session fees are £49.
Location session fees are £295, £200 of which is redeemable against products.
Session fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. Sessions may be rescheduled provided that you keep to the terms of our cancellation policy.
You can find more details on our PRICING page.
Your session fee covers our time for the 3-part process as described above - the creative consultation, the photoshoot and the ordering appointment. In addition, it also includes all image editing. Products are not included with the session fee unless explicitly stated. For location sessions, delivery of products is also included.
Our product range represents the finest that the photographic industry has to offer. There are 3 main types of products:
- Albums
- Wall hangings - framed and unframed
- Digital collections
For more details on these products check out our PRICING page.
At your Ordering Appointment. After your photoshoot, we'll need a few days to work some digital magic on your portraits. Your ordering appointment will be scheduled for a few days after your session. By then, we'll have edited the best of your portraits into a little video for you.
That depends on how many different portraits we create on the day. Usually, you'll see 20 - 40 of the absolute best images from your session.
Products are ordered and paid for at your Ordering Appointment. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash. A payment plan is available.
Digital collections can be turned around quite quickly (subject to your approval of your finished artwork) say, within 2 weeks from the date of your artwork approval. For wall hangings and books, allow up to 3 weeks from the date of your artwork approval.
Just fill in the form below, and say in the message you're ready to book. We'll give you a call to discuss your requirements and our availability.
No problem at all. Just fill in the form below, and let us know what you need. If you just want a chat (to make sure I don't have 2 heads) and that I'm the right photographer for you, that's fine too!
For studio photoshoots, we'll work in line with the latest government regulations on social distancing and household mixing. So please discuss with us in advance if you want to bring somebody to the session in addition to your direct family members.
We take the risk presented by the Covid 19 virus very seriously. We want to keep you and ourselves safe. You will be required to sign and adhere to our Covid 19 working practices in advance of your session. You can see those here.
Should you need to reschedule your session, provided you let us know at least 48 hours before, your photoshoot can be rescheduled at no additional charge to you. Should you fail to give us 48 hours' notice, another session fee will become due. The exception to this is sickness.
If you, or any member of your party is ill on the day of your session (this includes pets) please DO NOT SOLDIER ON REGARDLESS! We will need to reschedule your session. Sick people or pets aren't going to be feeling (or therefore looking) their best, and we want to create a collection of portraits for you that you absolutely fall in love with. You will not be charged an additional session fee if you cancel because of illness on the morning of your photoshoot. Please just let me know as early as possible - even if it's 'too early'. This is particularly true of location shoots where it's best to catch me before I've packed up my car.
The place to find out about any special offers, seasonal promotions or other funky stuff we do is our EXTRAS page. Why not head over there right now and check out what's available.
We'll help you to prepare for your shoot during our creative consultation. If you'd like to get started before that then check out our comprehensive blog How To Prepare For Your Baby Photoshoot.
